  1. I had the lapband on April 5, 2010. It is the best thing in life I have ever done for me! I have done well with it and hope to keep it the rest of my life. It is a fantastic tool that does not allow you to cheat……much. I admit that I have tried some bites of food that I was craving. But, guess what? The lapband said no and I learned my lesson. God bless Dr. Bagnato and his wonderful bariatric staff. I am so thankful that God sent me to them. Sandra Askew

Try to shop the perimeter of the grocery store. That is where you will find all of the fresh meats and produce which are healthy for you to eat. Try to stay away from the processed foods which are found on the center aisles. Always remember to eat your protein first at every meal.
