Weight Loss: 195 lbs

I received my Lap Band on October 27, 2006. Since then all the medications for pulmonary problems I had have been discontinued and no longer necessary. I have also lost 195 pounds! This incredible journey has added so much quality to my life. Along with my wife Marty, I am able to go and do things that in the past were virtually impossible. My starting weight was 440 pounds, so in effect I have lost an entire adult. I have yet to have a bad day as a result of the surgery. From the time I started the process, the people at Dr. Bagnato’s office and the Obesity Treatment Center have gone far and above any expectations I could have ever had. The personal and professional care shown to me has made my experience all the more fulfilling. I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone who like me, is tired of all the different diets that do not work, that can also have detrimental effects on your health.

As of June 2009 I have lost an additional 25lbs. My BMI is now 30 and total weight loss is 220 pounds.
