Dr. John Bagnato and the Lap band system gave me a life worth living. In October 2007 my life was truly changed, weighing in at 253 pounds, my height 5’3. I was battling several health problems: diabetes, arthritis, blood pressure and heart problems. Today I am diabetes and arthritis free. My medicines have been cut in half for blood pressure and my heart function has increased. The lap band has been God sent. My health and self esteem has really improved. Today I walk 2 miles 2 to 3 days a week, able to keep up with my six heartbeats “grandkids” and loving me some me. Today I weigh in at 192! I thank Dr. John Bagnato, my family, and friends for a life worth living and most of all I thank God for my life, health and strength.
