Brittany: LAP-BAND Surgery
Recently a coworker of mine came to me with a picture of myself before I had gotten the Lap Band. I did not even recognize myself. I printed the photo out, along with another photo of myself from the past week and all anyone could say was “WOW!” I don’t think any of the girls I work with really; truly understand how much their “WOW”s meant to me. I am only 11 months out of surgery and I honestly can’t explain how wonderful it has made my life.
Not only my aesthetics, but my confidence, attitude, and life have all changed for the better. Being overweight for your whole life and suddenly (with lots of hard work) being “normal” again is the most amazing feeling in the world. Having Lap Band surgery is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I thank Dr. Bagnato and his staff for everything they have done for me and all of the encouragement along the way.

Current weight: 174 BMI: 28
Total weight loss: 89

You look wonderful!!! Keep up the good work. I know exactly how you feel because I had my lap band 8/15/11 and have lost 80 lbs. It is wonderful having lost the weight and feeling so good about yourself. I know just how you feel. My picture is in the Patient Results as well.

Well, I’m slightly nervous about my lapband surgery schedule for this Thursday; just two more days. I’ve done well with the newbies low sugar diet; I’m exciting that I’ve lost 20lbs+. I was able to walk today with no cane and no pain. To God Be The Glory!
